Creating and growing a podcast is a marathon, not a sprint. This is not some get rich quick strategy or an easy path to take. In order to set yourself up for success on your podcasting journey it's important you:
Why do I want to start a podcast?
Now most of the time people will have a quick surface why that is there initial response. But for you to be successful, you need to dig deeper and really connect with that emotional and internal motivator that makes you want to start a podcast.
I recommend watching Simon Sinek’s TED Talk: Start With Why if you are stuck.
Why do I REALLY want to start a podcast?
Now take those ideas and make it so clear and concise that you could say it in one sentence. This sentence will help remind you why you started in the first place and help motivate you when you struggle during your podcasting journey.

Now that you know your WHY, it is time to fully commit to your journey.
Podcasting is a commitment of time & energy that must be consistently given every week to be successful in the long run.
There will be times that it will be frustrating. Like it is taking forever to grow your audience or see and monetization return on investment. But if you continue to stick with it and put in the work then you will succeed.
But you must commit now to your journey. You must declare it, feel it, & OWN it.
