Today we discuss why social media is a great way to promote your podcast, which platforms to focus on, what social media will do for your personal brand and business, what to focus on for your social media strategy, and how to make content creation fast and easy.

Step 1: Choose Which Platform to Focus On

When first starting out with your podcast, I recommend focusing on one platform that your audience uses the most. If your ideal avatar is on Twitter, focus on building your Twitter following. If they are on instagram, then focus on creating content for instagram.

Step 2: Create & Share Content

Using some of the strategies we discussed in today's lesson, begin thinking of ways you could start creating and sharing content on the platform you have chosen.

A great place to start is by sharing your trailer episode. You can create an audiogram of your trailer for social media using a service like headliner or wavve.
