Today we discuss how to prepare your podcast episode for uploading to the internet by exporting it from your audio editing software and tagging it with information about the episode and podcast.

Step 1: Export Your Audio

Today you will export your audio from whichever program you have been using to create and edit your podcast episodes.

Using Descript

Export your audio and add in any metadata during export

Now let's discuss transcripts

Step 2: Transcribe Your Audio

If you have been using Descript then you are in luck because your transcription has already be created for you. Just simply export your transcription from Descript in the export options.

If you are not using descript than you can get your audio transcribed with services like Rev or Otter.ai.
